Can this cutie really be a menace? Surely not!
And remember this quilted square I didn't know what to do with? Well, I finally figured it out...
An artist's roll! A perfect place to protect my brushes from our sweet kitty who looooves to chew on them :)
This is such an easy project, too, even without the quilting. All you need is two 18" or similar size squares of fabric... sew them right sides together leaving a small gap.
Turn it inside out, so that the right sides are facing out... press... then topstitch all the way around the edge (this will close up your hole from turning nicely).
Fold the bottom part up, press, and sew a few vertical lines to create pockets for your brushes, knitting needles, or whatever else you want to keep in it.
Voila! Roll it up and tie a bow around it!

It's beautiful Erin! I love to do that sort of quilting project...and I appreciate your ideas as well! =) Great fabrics, great photos...great job!
Beautiful piece Erin!
Don't you just love it when inspiration just flows!
My sweet boy kitty can be a handful too!!!
Great idea!
I love it! We used to have a cat who would steal my makeup brushes...I think she thought she was catching "critters". That Nicey Jane fabric is calling me...I'm trying not to buy much, but I love it!
I can't count the number of times I've had to disentangle my dog from my knitting, crochet, tatting projects. Good job on hiding away your craft tools from the kitty.
Such a cute cat! I'm sure he/she had a very good reason for getting into those brushes! I love the wrap! It's a perfect solution!

awh...too cute to be a menace. It must be another critter chewing on your brushes. :)
Love the design you created..very clever and very cute.
I love the pictures of your kitty!
