Yo Yo Flowers

As I mentioned in my previous post, I found a new magazine that I love!  Unfortunately, they only issued it once, and there are no definite plans for issuing it again unless there is enough interest (which I hope there is!).  The name of it is Flea Market Style, and they have a blog that has some great content as well.

One of the awesome ideas in the magazine were Yo Yo Flowers, made with old yo yos and knitting needles!  The pictures below are what I did with the idea :-)  Enjoy!

Everything turned out so nicely! I'm going to be working with some yoyos soon too...I hope it's something that might sell here. I'm trying to broaden my horizons. =)

Hey--I could do that. I even have some old, singlton knitting needles. What about leaves? Raffia maybe?
